Hello there! My name is Gabriella and I'm originally from Southern California. As a teenager, I began tutoring young kids in after-school programs for children with special needs. I went on to be a nanny by age 16 for a family that I am still close with and occasionally work for now at 25 years old. I've even gone on vacations with them! In university, I emphasised the study of outdoor environmental education, and made it a part of my curriculum to intern at a preschool and help develop environmental education lesson plans. I was later hired at this preschool and became the Daycare Lead where I cared for infants and toddlers, as well as a Preschool Aide for the classroom. While I recently pivoted and worked in the at the State Water Board for a year as a contracted Fellow, I am working towards going to grad school to Read more pursue Environmental and Outdoor Education. As you can probably tell, I love working with kids! I've always had a natural affinity for them and always put them first in the most gentle and thoughtful way possible. My love for caretaking extends to all critters - I have always had dogs and cats and am open to all pets, pet sizes, and pet personalities! I have had many happy clients on the Rover app and am also available there now for pet care needs. I have also been trusted to house-sit for several families that I've babysat for. I'm simply open and happy to care for children, pets, homes, and more!

Gabby was so great with my son! I have never had anyone else besides family watch him and she was able to establish a consistent, comfortable routine with him quickly. She was very calm, yet playful and she appeared at ease with babysitting toddlers; which, in turn made me and my son at ease! I was in need of someone last minute for a two week job and she was very responsive. She was on time everyday and kept in touch with me throughout the day sending me pictures and videos of my little one. I would definitely hire Gabby again, and I definitely recommend her!
