Hello!!! My name is Suraya, but I go by Oliver (he/him)! I had been doing childcare work for a little under a year with the Parks and Recreation youth services and have noticed that I really enjoy my one-on-one opportunities with my kiddos. I have a lot of creative and artistic skills, and I really enjoy using my art to bond with my kids. I’m also able to work children down from frustration or overwhelming feelings. They’re kids, their feelings are very big and very loud. I like to give them the space to feel what they need while making sure they understand the consequences if they did anything they weren’t supposed to. They need to learn, but they need to be allowed to feel too. I have experience with autistic kids as well, as an autistic person myself! I’ve been able to help autistic kiddos out of meltdowns and Read more being overstimulated. Whatever they need, I want to be able to supply! I hope I can help you and your kiddo ♡
