Hello! My name is Emma DePew. Im nineteen years old and I have been working with children of all ages since I was thirteen. I'm CPR, AED, and first aide certified. As my full time job, I work with a company called BRIA, which specializes in providing direct, in-home support to families and children with autism. As of right now, I'm only scheduled with them on Sundays. I'm certified to work with developmentally disabled/autistic children. I'm really passionate about working with children and understanding their growth. I'm an older sister, so as i've gotten older I have become very nurturing. Working with children is something that's fun and fulfilling for me. I like making a positive impact on peoples lives and making sure they know they are valued. In August, I will be starting my college classes and majoring in psychology or child development. I took psychology, sociology, and child Read more development my senior year of high school and LOVED it. I am a very creative person. I love painting, drawing, reading, and i'm currently trying to learn how to care for plants, specifically herbs (im so bad at it, but that's why im learning). I love music and being outside more than anything though. I have two dogs I take care of, but I grew up with chickens, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish, etc. My parents would describe my personality as bubbly. empathetic, and nurturing. Ive been working with children of all ages since I was thirteen years old. I worked in the nursery at church and childcare has just carried along with me. I know how to do all the basic necessities. I can cook, clean, help with homework, and anything else your kiddos may need. I'm also really good at having and making things more fun. I'm also willing to learn if there is a requirement I don't meet. I'm here to make your life as parents easier, and hopefully help your kids have fun!
