Hi, I'm Maura Oates, a recent graduate from Phillips Graduate University. I am a marriage and family therapist/art thearpist, looking to babysit as I only work 2 days a week currently. I have been babysitting for 9 years (since I was a freshman in high school). I started as a mother's helper for two twin boys (4 months old) and continued to babysit them weekly until I went to college. I have worked as a regular babysitter and nanny for several children of all ages and am capable of driving, cooking, and helping children with their homework. I have experience taking children out for day activities such as bowling, shopping, and playing at the park. I am capable of swimming so I would be able to supervise children in the pool. I have worked at a preschool with children ranging from 3 months old to 5 years old as an Read more assistant teacher and have been a camp counselor for children from 5 to 9 years old. These experiences have taught me to be patient and understanding with children while also making sure that everyone is having fun. I love doing crafts, playing games, and watching Disney movies.
