I have worked under the Child Development Services Department supervising and planning activities for both junior high and elementary school students attending after school programs. In 2007 I began working with preschoolers. I am familiar with the Reggio Emilia approach and believe greatly in allowing the child to guide the experience according to their interests so the learning experience will give its fruits. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and struggled in school. During grade school many of my daughters teachers lacked the information needed to help her manage her ADHD in the classroom.
