I am a working professional in the Bay Area and graduated in 2018 from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Though I now have a full time job, child care has always been a part of my life and something I'm passionate about -- I've now been babysitting for almost 12 years (and have babysat for a number of families through Sittercity!). I was a tutor for ten years, so I have background in elementary and middle school education and am very comfortable helping kids with homework and studying, or more specific skill sets such as reading comprehension or writing. I previously worked as a consultant for high school students applying to college and am more than happy to bring those skills to the table. I like to come up with games and activities to bring along when babysitting to allow kids to express their creativity and have a ton of Read more fun while doing so! Though I think T.V. and video games have their place in a child's life, I try to avoid extended periods of T.V. watching while babysitting and instead play games, do activities, or go on adventures with the kids.
