I have been working with children for over 5 years now, in all areas possible to me! My experience ranges from instructing dance classes for 3-18 year olds, private and group piano lessons, leading camp groups with JCC of Chicago, Alaska Theatre of Youth and Brave Trails Camp, choreographing productions with casts of up to 30 youth actors and being a teacher assistant in a preschool classroom. I've also nanny'ed for a family in Chicago for a year who had a wonderful 18 month old and was a mother's helper to a family with a 2 year old and a 6 month old. My time with children always teaches me something; I'm an avid and open learner! I've recently graduated from an MFA dance program and as an artist and dancer, my time with children always includes something artistic, even if it's just a living room dance party. I've been Read more working with large groups of children with varied ages for so long now that I've been complimented on my patience, efficiency and inviting nature with children more times than I can count. I would love to continue my time in caring for and spending time with children!
