I am a positive and loving person and caregiver. I love children, interacting with them, learning from them and inspiring them in their daily life. I believe childhood is the most important stage in someone's life and love contributing to the life of children and their families. I am currently doing several mindfulness courses and my Yoga teacher training. I believe the world can be a happier place if children and parents are more aware and learn how to live in the present moment, enjoying it as it is. I can perform short exercises for children to improve concentration as I progress in my studies. Helping a family and their children fulfills me and inspires me in this enjoyable path. I am from Colombia and Spanish is my native language, 33 years old and happily married. Live in Temescal with my husband, we have been sheltered during COVID-19. My most Read more relevant experience in the US working with kids was when I was an Au Pair in 2010 for a family in Hillsborough, CA. The kids were 2 and 4 years old. I lived with them for a year . During this time, I was in charge of them after School. In our afternoons, we developed a daily piano practice, had arts and crafts afternoons, I provided bike ride and swimming lessons to R. and A., I potty trained A., prepared delicious and healthy dinners, gave them baths, story time, and put them in bed. I also traveled with the family, went to restaurants, museums, beach, vacation, family gatherings, weddings, etc. The D. family and I still remain like a family, love and visit each other. I helped with Laundry, meal prep for the family, mail pick up, etc. The mom of the kids will be happy to speak to you! In 2017, I helped a family in SF with their 7 month-old baby. I only visited 2 hours a day and my duties were to wake up baby M., feed him and take him for a long walk. After we came back, I made breakfast for him and got him ready to go to the daycare. - Also can provide reference. I have also participated raising my two cousins at ages of 0-7 years old when I lived in Colombia. We are a very close family now. I can help with homework, daily practices, music, sports, swimming, riding bikes, arts and crafts, hikes, potty training, changing diapers, meal preparation, cleaning up, laundry, yoga, meditation and the most important thing, I can give them so much love! *In March 2020, I did the Lifeguard Training at the Temescal Pool. It includes CPR and first aid for infants and adults
