I am a mom, and have been taking care of my 4 years old son for the past 4 years. Before I gave birth to my son, I had one year experience working as a teacher's assistant at a preschool. So altogether I have more than 5 years experiences with young children. Besides, I am a native speaker of Chinese Mandarin. I speak only Mandarin with my son at home. He can speak and sing in Mandarin, and right now I start to teach him to learn Chinese characters. And obviously, he enjoys it when he is tracing the Chinese characters by himself. ( I have a Chinese characters poster at home, and he always traces the Chinese characters with his little fingers. How lovely!!)
