Hi! I'm Niki. I am a 2020 graduate from UC Irvine. I have 2 younger siblings and have volunteered with children for a lot of my life. I majored in Psychology & Social Behavior at UC Irvine. Unfortunately, I had to quit my last job in childcare early to move back to the Bay Area because of coronavirus. Luckily, I received a lot of training at this job and am now CPR and First Aid certified and received concussion training. I am currently looking for either a regular sitter job or occasional/evening/weekend/one-time sitter jobs! Here is some of my experience: First-grade classroom volunteer (2012-2016) Babysitter for a family of 3 children (aged 12, 9, and 6 when I stopped in 2016) (2013-2016) Family driver for 2 children (2016) After-school care + driving for 1 child (age 11) (September 2017) Behavior technician for 1 autistic child (age 8) (May-August 2019) Family Read more concierge (January-March 2020). This job included driving, errands, organization, dog-walking, childcare, meal prep, cooking, cleaning, helping at family events (i.e., swim meets), etc. I also have experience with animals (cats, dogs, lizards, fish) if you have pets at home :) Here is a little more about me and my availability: I am originally from the Bay Area and was involved in UCI's photography club and the National Society for Leadership and Success. I graduated with a 3.50 GPA. My hobbies include photography, traveling, and baking. I have a ton of experience cooking and baking pretty much anything except meat. I also really care about the environment and animals. I have experience fostering kittens as young as 12 weeks old. Last year, I worked in ABA therapy for autistic children and I also worked as a field study volunteer at the Santa Ana Zoo over the summer to fulfill a school requirement. I have a hybrid SUV that can fit three children in the back seat. I have experience driving kids to their after-school activities, running errands for families, and doing grocery shopping for families. I have never been in an accident and have had my license for 4+ years. I am available for pick-up and drop-off if needed. I also have experience cleaning and organizing for families if you need any similar services. My schedule is very open at the moment, but I would be more comfortable committing to a single family right now considering coronavirus. Thank you for your consideration, and feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or would like to discuss anything with me.
