I am a professional modern dancer in San Francisco (living in Oakland) looking to supplement my income with occasional babysitting work. I love spending time with children. Beyond my 8 years of continuous experience with child care, I have twenty-seven cousins (many of them younger) and five rambunctious nephews! My experience is with both girls and boys aged 3-11, canines aged 1-12, and believe it or not a few rats. I grew up on a farm in Colorado (and knowing this is the Bay Area) if you have chickens, rabbits, and/or goats I also have experience with them! My philosophy: balance. Balance between fun and spontaneous, physical activities and creative explorations like arts and crafts or drawing, and structured, quiet moments like reading, cleaning, and completing homework. I prefer being outside, taking advantage of the amazing resources and offerings of our beautiful Bay Area! My favorite activities in San Francisco Read more include the beach, California Academy of Sciences, The Exploratorium, the Dolores Park Slides and the House of Air! My favorite in the East Bay are the numerous farmer's markets, Tilden Park, flying kites at the Berkeley Marina, Lake Temescal and of various branches of the Public Library. I do not rely on telelvision or modern technologies but on imagination, home-cooked meals, and listening. I am patient, kind-hearted, and invested in our youth. Ask me anything you like! I have my own car and am willing to commute if compensated. My rate is $20/hr and can increase as the number of children increase.

We recently re-located to Berkeley and had friends coming up to visit with their 3 kids. On really short notice, Robyn agreed to watch five girls ranging in age from 10 to 3, plus a dog! Robyn was rally fantastic. She was available at short notice, she showed up on time and immediately gave the impression of being professional and competent.
