Hello, My name is Tyanna Braswell. I am 25 years old and native to the Bay Area. I currently work as a nanny of a now 2 year old toddler (formerly a nanny share with two toddlers since they were under a year old). However, my current family will be transitioning to group cares as the toddler will be 3 years old soon. Before that I was working as Kindergarten Teacher's Aide, where I worked with kindergarten students teaching them phonics, reading writing, and social studies. My experience with children is extensive and spans from as young as 6 weeks old to as old as 10 years old. I have a passion for working with children and deeply feel like working with the youth is my calling. Since I have done both nannying and working in a daycare, I am capable of supervising more than one infant/toddler at a time. Read more In my spare time, I spend a lot of time with family. I am a writer/spoken-word poet and mentor as well as a volunteer/community activist. I facilitate poetry and writing workshops for the youth. I enjoy working with infants most and recall my time in both childcare facilities and nannying to be most enjoyable when working with infants. I currently live in Berkeley and would love to find a position working closer to home. I have great references from parents of children I used to nanny as infants/toddlers.
