My name is Lu, and I am an 18 year old high school graduate set to attend college this fall. I am looking for a part-time childcare job this summer for a child or children ages 3 to 12. I am responsible, positive, and patient. I love children, animals, and the outdoors. I am happy to take your children for outings like bike rides, visiting the beach, or a hike, but I am also content to read and play with them at home, or help them with school stuff. I have my own car, am a good driver, and have had my license for two years with a clean record. I can cook and grocery shop and do meal prep if needed, or help out with other household tasks. I am fully vaccinated, careful about social distancing and handwashing, and happy to talk about extra ways I can help keep Read more you and your kids healthy. In the past, I have worked as a Junior Counselor with the 3-5 year old age group at an outdoor camp in Tahoe called Camp Skylandia. My group there consisted of 7 kids and included a special needs, hearing impaired girl, and her parents were very happy with her first experience at a mainstream camp. I have experience babysitting for different families with children from ages 3 to 12 years old and groups from 1 to 6 kids. Most recently I have been babysitting an 8 year old boy in Piedmont. I also have experience doing clerical work in my school's college counseling office, and tutoring and grading for teachers at my school in English and Latin. I have been a pet-sitter for dogs, cats, chickens and horses. Ideally, I'd like to work 3 or 4 days per week, about 25 - 30 hours, with some flexibility for shorter weekend or date night shifts. I would be happy to put you in touch with my past employers for a reference. I am available immediately and can work until the first week of August, which is when I depart for college.
