Hi my name is Elexis and I currently attend Sacramento State University. I have my AA in Psychology and obtaining my BA in Social Work. I have always had a love for youth because I grew up in a big family with lots of younger kids and siblings. I was always the one babysitting, so I grew a love for it. I really enjoy working with youth as I have worked with youth since the age of 16. I have worked at multiple after school programs and boys & girls clubs from San Francisco to Sacramento. My career goal is to become a social worker for foster youth or become a preschool/kindergarten teacher one day. I work part time for City of Oakland as a Rec Attendant. I started off as a Rec Aide and got promoted to a Rec Attendant. I also work for IHSS to help care for Read more seniors on and off . I have 4+ years of caregiving for seniors and 7+ years of working with youth/kids. I want to gain experience in being a nanny. As I love working closely with families to help them out with whatever is needed. I have a puppy of my own, he is 7months old. I am not afraid of big dogs. I am willing to walk, dog sit, feed and play with your fur baby no matter their age or size. I do prefer dogs or puppy’s that do not shed.
