I have been babysitting for over ten years-- since I was eleven. I've watched children ranging from the three months to thirteen years. I have babysat for families with no pets and for a family with a Bernese mountain dog. I've nannied for a seven month-old, babysat all the kids for a neighborhood block party (about ten) and worked as a maternal assistant in an orphanage where there the staff were severely outnumbered by babies! People tell me that I have a way with kids but I think that kids have a way with people :) I am not the kind of babysitter who like to fritter away hours with the tv. I love play; I love getting kids outdoors. I love reading. No real preferences in terms of what shape, size or age your children come in :) I do have experience working with special needs' children.
