I become a part of the family. I have the most experience with school-aged youth, as I am a current educator. I have also had the opportunity to babysit and be a nanny to youth ranging between newborn and 13yrs old. In these positions I have effectively assisted with homework help, light housecleaning, communication and activities with youth, communication and following directions from parents, travel with family, and transportation to and from school and events. I enjoy movies, amusement parks, and book stores with youth, as well as, pottery and painting! I am CPR certified. And have references that will confirm that I am like family

Kamilah was great with our kids (ages 3.5 and 6). She was engaged with them from the moment she walked in the door. We highly recommend her to other families.

Kamilah babysat for us once and was excellent, especially with helping entertain our 1-year-old baby.

kamilah is a highly attentive, caring, and intuitive caregiver. We hired Kamilah to look after our one-year old while we my partner was a visiting professor at UC Berkeley; she cared for Emily a total of five times, including day times and evenings. She is one of the best care caregivers we've found: from Vancouver, Boston and the Bay Area! We posted the job for a set hourly wage and decided to increase It based on how great Kamilah was. It is clear Kamilah cares deeply about children, about connecting with them where they are at, and about respecting their autonomy and individuality. It's also clear she has high standards, for herself as an educator and nanny, and for the children she cares for. She was also great with us--she always let us know what was going on. She's a particularly good listener--which is also why she is such a great educator. I can imagine Kamilah would excel at whatever she decided to work at and the children and parents she works with are lucky to have her

Kamilah, is quite simply the best in the business. She has been a part of our family for about 2 months at the time of this review. We needed a sitter on very short notice and Kamilah's response indicated superior professionalism. She is timely, dependable, and accommodating. More importantly, she is great with our 17-month old daughter. She is kind, gentle, and committed to genuinely connecting with our child. Kamilah also possesses a maturity that immediately put us at ease when we met her, and we have not had any reservations since. Her service and commitment to excellence, is second to none.

Kamilah agreed to babysit for us at the last minute as our regular babysitter had an emergency. She was professional, prompt, and immediately engaged with our kids. She told us ahead of time she would text when the kids napped and she did. Everything went great and she even went the extra mile and did the dishes! Kamilah has now babysat for us twice and when we return home the house is calm and in order and the kids are quiet and happy. I hope to have her care for our kids more in the future. Recommend very highly.

Just Perfect. I hired Kamilah on short notice to help watch my four- and one-year olds while I did some work around the house. She arrived promptly and was as polite and professional in-person as she had been on the phone. She immediately began to engage the kids and got right to work on getting them out of my hair so I could get some things done. Kamilah was energetic and enthusiastic and actively played with the kids, (unlike other sitters I've had who nod and mumble while texting on their phones.) When I fed the kids their lunch Kamilah stepped in and began helping out: helping them wash their hands, serving, clearing and cleaning. The best thing about Kamilah is that she takes initiative and handles things without waiting to be asked. She was a delight to have around for myself and my children and I recommend her without hesitation. A truly responsible, respectable, intelligent, courteous, trustworthy, fun and friendly *adult*. My daughter couldn't wait to have her come back. We've hired her twice since then and would have her around all the time if I could afford it. Do not hesitate. She is just perfect.
