  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

Hello, I'm Michelle! I'm CPR certified and am a certified nursing assistant in Illinois with pediatric experience. My husband and I recently moved to California, my husband is in the military. I'm going to be going to school online and will strictly be babysitting/nannying. I've been babysitting for quite sometime, about 13 years now. I have experience with infants (as young as 2 months) as well as older children (as old as 13 years). I'm comfortable working with kids of all ages. I also was tutor at my high school and can help with homework assignments/projects. I'm very organized and like to plan out activities or follow a schedule you have in mind. I like to incorporate music, arts/crafts , outside time, and some sort of learning activity.

I emailed back and forth with Michelle and felt she was a strong candidate for our part-time nanny position. She was quick to respond and seemed very positive. We set a date for her to come over to chat some more. The day of we had to reschedule things to be sure to be home on time but she never showed up. Not a single call, text or email. I even sent an email saying simply "What happened?" and she couldn't even bother to reply or make up an excuse. I've also waited five days before writing this review in case there was an emergency. Truly a blessing in disguise, though. Had she interviewed well I may have hired her and trusted her with my child. The lack of such common (perhaps no longer common?) courtesy is a true judge of character.
