Hi I’m Danielle! I grew up around child care my entire life. From as long as I can remember, my mom was constantly babysitting. Whether it was for a neighbor, one of her coworkers, or even just a friend of a friend who needed some help, my mom was always there to extend our home. As I grew older, she started to let me help her with different tasks like cooking for everyone, feeding the little ones, preparing group snacks, making sure everyone was together when we went to the park, and more. Being apart of that environment and forcing my mother to give me a role in the fun is an experience I will cherish forever. In April 2016, I was blessed with the opportunity to look after an old coworkers daughter, Kimberly, a few days a week. When I first started helping their family, Kim was about 10 Read more months old. She was such a smart, eager baby. Her favorite hobbies were trying to walk (with support, of course), following our cat around the room, flipping book pages, and rambling about all her baby wonders. I got to watch her up until I moved to California in August if 2017. There is something special about watching a baby learn how to be a person. Being able to be apart of a child’s development is such an overlooked honor. It’s not always the easiest but at the end of the day, it will ALWAYS be rewarding seeing them learn, laugh, and blossom. After my habitual 3 cups of coffee, I have enough energy to power all of Southern California and I like to keep myself busy. Aside from caring for your little bean, I’d like to offer my hand in keeping your home tidy, wash dishes, doing some laundry, watering plants, etc. Thank you for your time!
