Hello Families! My name is Sarah and I am a wife, homeschool mom to a 1st and 3rd grader, ice-skater, and workout junkie who loves to cook and bake! I enjoy healthy eating, gardening, being active with my family and dachshund! Having fun while learning with my kids is how I roll in my daily life. I started babysitting at the age of 15 for neighborhood families and have been caring for children ever since. Now with having my own kiddos, I have learned a great deal by doing somethings right and making TONS of mistakes but enjoying it all. I absolutely love children and enjoy assisting them in their growth journey to become kind, loving people. From my experience of being a caregiver and now a parent, I am finding it challenging to find trustworthy, fun, knowledgeable, motivated caregivers for my children so I have decided to continue sitting Read more for other families in their time of need. Having the opportunity to get a break is something I also understand and look forward to. My husband works from home and my two wonderful babes are either in classes or with one of us. I have a very flexible schedule and my kids LOVE making new friends if your children need playmates and I am happy to care for your child/children in their home of course. I absolutely LOVE teaching children new skills and I enjoy making learning hands on and FUN! I am very familiar with infants, toddlers, school age kids and fully understand their needs. I can also assist with lessons if needed. I truly feel like spending quality time with your kids is so important and it's definitely a great feeling to know someone is full-filling your child's emotional needs when you are either working or taking some me time. I consider myself a loving, compassionate, and fun human and I would love to have fun with your family and tire your kids out for you! We make pretty big messes in my house but I also like my house clean and tidy and I would take care of your home the same as I do mine. I am a fantastic multitasker and also encourage children to help with home care with what is appropriate for their age. I also try and foster emotional intelligence with my own kiddos and encourage good communication while offering "re-do's" when someone makes a mistake. I make mistakes daily and I love when my children offer this to me. Being safe is also incredibly important and practicing good judgement is critical when it comes to child care so I am currently working on updating my CPR certification with my daughter <3
