I love taking care of kids because they are so loving and easy to love. There's so many new things for them to learn and it's fun helping them explore. When I take my son to the playground usually all the kids swarm to us. Their moms are usually on their phones because they are exhausted so I love just coming in and helping and playing with them. I really do enjoy engaging with them and speaking positive words over them because they really need that growing up. We as parents can't do it alone and it definitely takes a tribe.

I first started babysitting when I was in my young teens, becoming the go-to person for most of the families within my neighborhood. My name is Lili. I am a recent graduate of UCLA. Growing up I was one of five girls in the family; which proved very beneficial when it comes to my experience with kids. I have over 7 years of experience working with kids from either babysitting neighborhood kids or through my volunteer and work positions. From 2013-2015, I have worked as a snows ports instructor with a non-profit organization called Achieve Tahoe that provided affordable and adaptive recreational activities for participants with all types of disabilities ranging from spinal cord injuries to autism. My position at the ski school was to assist in ski lessons for kids with disabilities ranging from the age of 5-15 years old. In the summer of 2015 I worked as a belayer at Diablo Rock Gym. There I ran the kids summer rock climbing program, teaching kids how to have fun and be safe while indoor rock climbing. On weekends I would belay for birthday parties and private lessons. Since I am gone for the majority of the year for college, I work there on the occasionally school breaks. The summer after my first year at UCLA, I worked as a live-in nanny for a family in Elk Grove, CA.
