I first started babysitting when I was in my young teens, becoming the go-to person for most of the families within my neighborhood. I went on to nanny for a few different lovely families, taught and ran Red Cross Certified swimming programs for infants and kids of all ages and skills, and spent some of my favorite summers working at an overnight camp on the East Coast. Staying interactive, to help kids feel comfortable while having fun. I grew up with very active parents and that lifestyle has stuck with me into my adulthood. I love doing arts and crafts, making up fun silly games to play, baking cookies to decorate, and legitimately making learning fun in all sorts of exciting ways. I do understand the importance of a timely nap, and set schedules kids are on. I am almost finished with online and in person school to become a special education teacher. I have worked in special education classrooms as a paraprofessional for about 3 years now. Know basic sign language, comfortable with non-verbal children. Willing to work with family’s with kids of all abilities and ages. (Infants as well) Reliable safe vehicle. Love pets, I have 2 dogs of my own. I grew up in an in-home daycare, so caring for little ones has always come naturally to me. I've spent my entire life caring for my younger siblings. When I was about 12 years old, I began caring for children in my neighbourhood. When I was 15, I worked as a lifeguard and received first aid and CPR training, which led to me being hired by a number of local families to babysit and nanny. I've always loved children and would love to care for them when families require assistance.I am also pretty flexible with my schedule!
