Hello, I am 25 years old and I have about 8 years of paid experience working with kids. I started as a swim instructor aid at the age of 17, I soon worked my way up to a certified instructor. I worked with children ages 6 months to 10 years teaching water safety skills. After about 4 years of that I decided it was time for a change of pace so I transitioned to a preschool teacher where I gained experience in every class we had to offer. After helping out as lunch breaker for a while I was placed in the two year old room and I spent about a year there doing regular daily activities as well as potty training all seven 2 year olds. After that I became the lead infant teacher. I had two infants in my care during this time a four months old and Read more a six month old who’s entire days I was in charge of and I just had so much fun with it. I keep a pretty regular routine for infants because I think children thrive in routine but each child is different so each routine will looks a little different. I believe it’s my job to find their most comfortable routine and stick to it. I’m also very COVID conscious so I’m hoping the family I work for is too
