Hello Families! My name is Joanna and I am going into my senior year at San Diego State University. I am majoring in Child and Family Development and am going to be an elementary school teacher. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and was previously a lifeguard. Over the past few summers I have been a swim coach which is where my love and passion for children began. I have also volunteered in numerous preschool and elementary school classrooms and taught swim lessons to various aged children. I love playing games, doing crafts, and playing outdoors. I am the oldest of two children and often helped my mom and family members watch and take care of my younger cousins and brother when I was growing up. I have been babysitting and nannying since I was 14 years old and absolutely love it.
