Cancellation Policy: My cancellation policy is case by case, as I want to be fair and sensitive to whatever seems reasonable under each cancellation circumstance. If I am able to find another job to replace the canceled job, I don't expect any compensation. Because I do turn down other work and also rely on the anticipated income earned from UrbanSitter jobs booked more than a week in advance, I typically request payment for 50% of the total hours for the cancelled booking (unless I am able to find another job to replace the cancelled job).

I have worked for over 15 years as a babysitter and tutor in residential homes. As a babysitter and mommy assistant I have gained countless hours of experience working with children ages 1 to 7. Working with such large numbers of young children has taught me a lot about care taking. During this time I have also held mommy helper positions for families with children of all ages.
