I have recently moved to the area from Richmond, Virginia; although, now I am a registered Californian! :) I am a 35 year old single female. I have no children of my own but I have helped raised two Godchildren from birth, male and female, who are now 6 and 8; and helped raise my two nieces, who are now 3 and 5. I have one fur baby, Lizzee, a rescue that is 14 now. I have had several rescues throughout the years that have passed on. I was employed in Virginia as the Budget Director for the Department of Education and have yet to find a job in California equivalent to that one and I am trying to earn some additional income while I am on the job search for a career in accounting/auditing/budget. I love children and animals. I often volunteer with my church to work in the Read more children's ministry and I have a passion for all animals. :) I have been certified the past eight years in CPR, however, my actual certification just expired in October (I would have renewed through work but I moved to California). So I am un-officially certified but I am very calm in emergencies, and my mother is an RN so I always have an on-call nurse at my disposal.
