Greetings: I love working with infants and their parents. I have extensive experience, as well as education, in the field: my last positions were in private homes. ( One with a family living in the Sunset District of San Francisco ... the father teaches sailing !) I have experience, and education, in regards to nutrition ( transitioning to solids; the making of, and use, of baby foods, as well as toddler recipes/food), growth & development for infants, babies, and toddlers, including environmental aids which may stimulate an infant, baby, or toddler in order to reach their potential. (music-including singing, walks, reading/pictures, gardening, fine & gross motor activities, and, if possible, occasional exposure to/with peers). I also have 1st hand experience with Elimination Communication - 'potty training' realized by at least one year. This would need cooperation with all adults interacting with the infant/baby, albeit minimal if need be. I am Read more registered with Trustline. I am Covid-19 vaccinated and have had one booster thus far with the Pfizer series, awaiting the release of the Pfizer omicron booster, as recommended by the CDC. Having been Red Cross 1st Aid Certified most of my adult life, I will be renewing soon in order to be up to date. As well, I am up to date on my TB, whooping cough, and other needful vaccinations. I will receive my flu shot in October, as also recommended by the CDC. I am seeking part time work. Again, I love working with infants ... and have been told by previous employers I am very good at my chosen profession. I hope to hear from you folks in order to discuss our compatibility in a working relationship.
