I have been around kids my whole life. Since I was about 9 years old, I would always help watch our family friends' kids and toddlers. Once I turned 17 I started teaching art to children ages 4-9 and I've been doing it since until I move to LA. I was also a swim coach for about 2 years at two different locations and taught everyone from 2-15 years old. One of my friends had me watch her 2 and 4 year old sons, and I would stay overnight at their house.
