Hi! My name is Molly. I am an energetic, fun-loving, and responsible babysitter with over 10 years of experience supervising children of all ages. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old (if you don't count being the eldest of 3 siblings as a built-in babysitter). I quickly became known as the "Mary Poppins of Amoroso Pl", eventually taking on ~8 different families to regularly work with throughout high school. For 2 summers during my time at UC Berkeley, I worked as a beach camp counselor, where I refined my impromptu dance battle, singalong, and storytelling skills all the while deepening my love for children. These summers also solidified my belief that I'll always need youthful, carefree energy in my life that only kids seem able to provide. Since graduating from UC Berkeley in 2020, I worked in management consulting, which was far from the summer camp counselor role Read more I had known and loved. I recently left my job in management consulting to reconsider what I want to do with this one wild and precious life of mine. I've decided that life is too short to do things that don't fulfill me (e.g., staring at spreadsheets all day), which is what brings me to SitterCity. I hope to cover my rent by working part-time at a yoga studio by my house as well as spending time with kids, before deciding what the next step in my career should be. Though I am new to SitterCity, I have an extensive list of references I can provide you with, if you are interested. Moreover, I am happy to interview over the phone or in-person, as I know your children's safety is your number 1 priority.
