My name is Angelique. I am a 23 year old college student currently enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona. I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. Most of babysitting experience comes from taking care of my nieces and nephews, and my mum’s friends would sometimes ask me to babysit for them as well. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum as well. My typical responsibilities often include tending to the child’s basic needs, as well as keeping them engaged through various age appropriate activities that I usually plan based on their interests. I love working with children because they remind me not to let life pass me by, and always make sure to appreciate the smaller joys in life.
