Hello, my name is Jessica and I have been caring for children since high school. When I was younger, I found my first sitting job watching my cousin who was 10months at the time. His father asked me to watch him twice a week; 4 hours at a time which lasted about a year. After that I got to help my sister by taking care of my niece from the day she was born in till she was about 2 years old. Also throughout High school, I found different babysitting jobs through neighbors and family friends. For the last few years, I help take care of my niece every weekend. She is currently seven years old and it is so much fun to watch her grow up! I love coming up with new crafts for us to do, and finding events to take her too. I am student at Palomar Read more College working toward a child development associates degree for transfer to CSUSM, I am working hard to become a teacher. Everything I have learned through my studies I apply while working with children! Also since May of 2014 I am officially a mother and I love my job! Everyday is a new journey and my job is to make every moment the most beneficial leanring experience for my son. I love caring for children and I want use my skills to help out another family. I know how hard it is to let someone take care of your child, but I welcome you into our home and to out routine! Our schedule always include reading, and educational games. We use baby signs to promote early communication, and I am constantly talking to my son. We always take time to play outside in our baby proof back yard, and we go out for walks to the mail box. I like to take my son to the zoo/safari park, or up to the children museum every week. My son is amazing and he is a result of my parenting; the proof of my dedication of providing quality learning care! I can't wait to meet your family and hopefully become your new sitter!
