Throughout my life, I have been responsible for the younger members of my extended family and have worked extensively with families within my hometown. From there, when I began school at the University of Denver, I wanted to find a way to make money while doing something fun and engaging! I am very outdoorsy and love trying new things and activities! I am a certified Safe Sitter and renewed my CPR certification a few months ago through my sorority, Alpha Phi. Further, I interned at a summer program in Indianapolis, Indiana called Horizons for five consecutive summers in which I was responsible for maintaining order among the students and creating fun and educational activities for the children. Also, upon my arrival in Denver, I became involved with the Bridge Project, located in downtown Denver, working to help tutor and educate Denver students from low socioeconomic groups.
