Hi there! My name is Siattle, pronounced like the very rainy city in Washington state, however I am a California native and enjoy spending my time in the sunshine, backpacking, drawing, and doing yoga! My experience working with children has been broad. I am the oldest of 5 siblings, and throughout high school and college I often babysat for family and friends. After college I worked as an outdoor educator for a wilderness survival skills summer camp for children ages 5-15, and in the last year I volunteered as a speech aid for a speech services clinic. While working as a speech aid, I assisted in speech sessions with various children who had been diagnosed with autism and speech delays. Throughout these experiences, I've had so much fun, and even decided to pursue a career working with children. I am currently a graduate student studying Communication Disorders and Sciences, with Read more the hopes of becoming a speech-language pathologist in the next two years. My goal is to eventually work in a school district as a speech therapist and would love to continue to foster my skills in working with kiddos so I can be the best SLP I can!
