Currently, I work for a family as a full time nanny/one-on-one aid for a 5 year old girl with special needs and her 8 year old brother. Majority of my time is spent caring for the 5 year old girl. I've been employed by this family for the past 4 years. However, I am seeking a new nannying position because of a decrease in hours, due to the children getting older and being in school . My job consists of getting children ready for the day and transporting them to/from school and to daily activities. In home, I do light household chores, help with light meal preparations, and help facilitate developmental and educational experiences for the children. I have also served as the young child's one-on-one aid in the classroom for the past 3 years, while she has attended preschool. I coordinate her daily therapy sessions and, also, accompany and Read more observe her sessions with therapists. Previous to this job, I worked at Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool for 5 years as an associate teacher for 3 year olds and for Infant/Toddlers.
