I have volunteered in many settings that provide child attention and care. I was a volunteer mentor for the Lemoore Charter Middle School. I am currently a mentor for the Upward Bound Program at West Hills College Lemoore, where we help them with classes, tutoring, taking them on trips, and watching over them at the time they are our responsibility. There I was trained on how to become a mandated reported, how to talk and influence young students on to the right path and I had my background checked as well as a fingerprint scanning. I am also CPR certified. I can tutor in any school subject. I am also fluent in Spanish and I know basic American Sign Language. I am currently pursuing a career in psychology with some child development on the side. I am the oldest of 3, and I have always looked after my younger siblings Read more and cousins. My family history has trained me to know how to take care of children, from infant to a teenager. I work well under pressure and I can handle taking care of multiple children at various ages.
