Hello, my name is Melanie and I am a college student in pursuit of being an elementary school teacher. I have had experience around children for as long as I could remember; I would (and still do at times) baby sit my younger family members for up to weeks. In high school I was a mentor for a fourth grade girl for two years. Now that I am in college I work with an after school program and am responsible for a class of 20 students. I enjoy being around kids because they make me laugh, and they teach me things on a daily bases.
