I'm currently a college student studying to become an elementary school teacher. I come from a large family, with siblings who are much younger than me (the youngest is 18 years younger!). I not only love spending time with and watching children grow, but I have tons of experience with child care! I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old for friends and family. I have babysat from newborns to pre-teens. I was an overnight summer camp counselor for the YWCA. My favorite part of being a counselor was building a relationship with the campers and teaching them new skills. I taught sports, nature, arts and craft and drama. As a former camp counselor, I have a unique talent for coming up with fun activities out of the blue. I love to cook and I have mastered the art of picky-eater-friendly cooking. I can also help with homework, I currently have a 3.8 GPA at my school, my academic strengths are humanities (Social Studies, English, etc.) and Science.
