My name is Kayla and I am attending CSU Sacramento. My experience with children are being a camp counselor, nannying for a family for 3 years before coming to college. I also am the oldest of four, which formed me into a mother figure for my brothers and sister. I am a patient sitter, but also am firm when it comes to manners and guiding them into the right direction when it come to interacting with others. In the past year while I had worked at a children's museum, I was on the floor keeping a watchful eye on the children as well as interacting with them. My experience has broadened since then, I've worked with a woman that I found here on care. com and a grandmother with dementia who gave me an insight on the difficulties they must overcome on a day by day basis. I unfortunately had Read more to stop for a while to focus more on school but now I'm able to manage a job again. I am able to run errands, cook, clean, and treat the children to fun areas in Sacramento that educate them as well as giving them an active experience. I am more than happy to help with homework and help them understand sections they may have difficulties understanding. I am also a huge animal lover so having animals is no problem for me.
