Meet Scout

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

Hello, my name is Scout and I would love to babysit for you! I have been a nanny for 5 years, worked with 10 families, and 16 children from the ages of 2 months to 14 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies as well as my first aid and CPR certifications. I have two cats who are well loved and I enjoy reading, painting, and gardening. In my years of nannying, I have cared for neurotypical and neurodivergent children, as well as trans children and children with learning disabilities. For two families, I provided daily preschool, teaching their children to read and write. We have enjoyed dancing and singing together, going on walks to the park, and drawing! I am currently nannying M-Th, but am looking for babysitting opportunities in the coming weeks (September 10th-22nd). Thank you for your time!

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
