Hi! My name is Starr. I currently work full time in retail but I’m looking to make a little extra money to add to my savings. I’ve listed three years of experience because I was a part time nanny for a family for three years. I started when their first child was 18 months old. When she turned 3 they had their second child who I also cared for from newborn until she was about 11 months old. Unfortunately, they moved and at the time I didn’t have my own vehicle so we parted ways. I’ve had three years of paid experience, however, I’ve been caring for kids most of my life. My mom ran an in-home daycare from the time I was two years old until I was thirteen years old. I grew up learning how to properly care for individual children, because no two are the same. I Read more have also been babysitting my niece who’s now four years old since she was a newborn. My favorite thing about being a sitter just so happens to also be my least favorite thing about being a sitter; watching them grow up. It’s bittersweet for me because I love watching them learn and become who their going to be in life but in the back of my mind I remember that there will be a day when they no longer need help moving along in life. I love being active! Parks, libraries, picnics, etc. anything we can do to get some of that energy out!
