I was born and raised in California. I have two siblings, a sister who is 7 years my junior and a brother who is 14 years my junior. I also have a large extended family with many cousins my age and younger, who I see regularly. I really enjoy being a big sister and cousin! As for my experience, during my summers in high school I worked at a horseback riding camp helping the 7 and 8 year old children with preparing the horses for riding and completing projects during arts and crafts time. Throughout high school I also often worked as a baby-sitter for different families in my neighborhood. The summer I was fifteen I babysat my sister everyday, every other week. As siblings if we just sat at home all day together we would drive each other crazy, so I had to be very creative at finding fun Read more things to do (and without a car!). At sixteen - once I could drive - I became responsible for getting my then 9 year old sister and 2 year old brother dressed, fed and ready for school. I also drove them to school and preschool respectively. I graduated in the top 3% of my high school in San Jose, CA and went on to receive a Bachelors of Arts in Art History with a minor in Spanish from UCLA. After graduating from college I worked with a couple of different art galleries in Los Angeles and San Francisco before interning with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. After completing that internship I moved to Madrid for a year. I lived in Madrid tutoring and teaching English to students ages 7 - 25, though the majority of my students were under 16. After Madrid I moved to New York to pursue a degree in Fashion Studies. I graduated in 2009 and I have been working part-time as a freelance fashion CAD/textile designer. Physical activities I love are swimming (I was on the high school varsity team), water skiing, snow skiing, tennis, figure skating, and hiking. I love to bake and am very good with making basic meals. I love to play board games and card games. I love photography, modern art, sewing, knitting, crafts, traveling, reading, and watching a good movie.
