Hi, my name is Bellamy! I’m new to the area and moved to California from Texas after finishing college. I have a full time job with an environmental nonprofit during traditional business hours (with some flexibility) but am looking for extra part time work. I have worked with kids several times the past few years. Most recently, babysitting for a family in Sacramento. I’m passionate about getting outdoors, arts/crafts, and music! Bellamy worked with our family from Aug'24 - Dec'24 helping with afterschool care for our 2.5 y/o. The primary responsibilities were a light snack, toileting, and having fun! Bellamy did a fantastic job making us comfortable leaving our son with her very early on and he always had such a blast when she was over. She went above & beyond to check in with us for input, of which we never had any besides 'keep up the great work'. She was also very alert when it came to our sons food allergies & asthma as well as sharing any 'big emotions' we had that day (in which she did a phenomenal job of meeting him where he was in those moments). We were so sad to have to lose her early due to graduation (congrats!) but would have kept her on longer had the opportunity been there. Thank you again Bellamy!
