I have 24 years of experience attentively babysitting, teaching and mindfully listening to children of all ages. I have grown in these capabilities since studying these topics at Duke University, and since completing internships as a youth pastor and pediatric chaplain. I love caring for kiddos, and finding ways to teach, connect and play with them all at the same time. I start a 1-year Chaplain residency at UCSF Children's Hospital in September of 2016, so I would love to spend the summer working as a nanny of healthy children who do not have to live at the hospital for weeks or months at a time. Loving and caring for healthy children helps and inspires me to work with sick kiddos as a chaplain. I'm a very outgoing, active person who loves walks, hikes, picnics and being outdoors.
