My grandmother used to have a daycare when I was growing up and I loved helping her with the infants and older kids she used to take care of. As a teen I had babysitting jobs most of them were siblings of the kids that my grandma used to watch. At 14 I volunteered at Turnbull Children's Center in San Mateo over my summer break, I would help the teacher setup the classroom, interact and work with kids help with lunch, the grades were from pre-school age to 3rd grade. In 2006 I started working for San Bruno School District as a Translator for their parent/teacher conferences, I also translate for their Special Ed Dept. Assisted the superintendent with translating for various meetings for Spanish speaking only parents. I also work for Millbrae School District for their Special Ed Department as a Resource Specialist Aide and I have also worked Read more as a special ed aide working with children from mild to moderate to severe students with Autism and behavioral problems and non verbal students and I work for the department when they have summer school for one month. I also work for Belle Air School as a translator and for their after school program. I have worked with all ages from infant to preteen children. I am also a proud mother of my daughter Susi, who is currently a student @ University of California Santa Cruz studying Electrical Engineering. I am certified in infant/child/adult First Aid & CPR, trained in the EPI pen for allergies, Literacy Tutor. I do arts and crafts for the students at the after school program, I love Art!!! From drawing to painting to play dough! I love music, reading, poetry, cartoons, the parks definitely!!! Just give me a swing and I'll be HAPPY!!! Movies!!! Im looking for a part time position after my first job in the afternoons.
