I have Infant CPR certificate, am a mother and grandmother. I have an 8 year old granddaughter that has been at my house at least 1~ 3 nights a week since she was a two week newborn! Not out of necessity, or for pay! (Now, I need to have her over because I can't stand being away from her more than 3~ 4 days at a time LOL) I always babysat when I was a teenager. Then when my first child (my son) was about 4; I watched the boy next door (same age) and his baby sister during the week days for about a year until they started KG. Note: there is only yes and no option for 'Are you comfortable with pets'... I do not mind a cat but not a big fan of large dogs.
