Hello Parents! My name is Megan and I have been a professional nanny for the past 6 years. What sets me apart from other caregivers, is that being a nanny is my career. I am very dedicated to this job, and I love what I do. I have studied Child and Family Development for 3 years, and am well-versed in the developmental ages and stages, which includes knowledge in the areas of a child s developmental, social, and emotional needs.. I am currently training to become a Newborn Care Specialist through the Newborn Care Training Academy. I have attended many workshops to further my knowledge of Child Development, such as: National Nanny Training Day, Nanny Conferences, Positive Discipline Workshops, Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Workshops, and Child Development Workshops. I am Adult, Child and Infant CPR and First Aid certified through Life Savers CPR and First Aid Training. My knowledge Read more and experience in this career have taught me so much about this job and have given me the tools I need to be an excellent caregiver. As a caregiver, I consider myself to be a loving, nurturing, energetic and hands-on. I enjoy and take great pride in being a positive role model for children. My favorite things to share with children are my love for reading, creating, and exploring. It is very important to keep children active and engaged throughout the day, and I love to provide these opportunities through play based learning. I excel in creating routines, maintaining a safe environment, soothing children, practicing positive discipline, and adjusting to the ups and downs that children go through on a daily basis. If you think we would be a good fit, I would be happy to provide my resume and references.

Megan has been a part-time nanny for our family for under a year. I have twin girls that were 14 or 15 months old when she first joined our family. She has always provided fun, loving, safe and educational care for our girls. She leaves a detailed report of their activities throughout the day, brings fun developmental activities, provides nutritious meals and keeps them on the same schedule and routine that we have them on. She is active, creative and very hands on. Our girls were always happy when we came home and asked for "Meyman" after she left. She has a special touch with children of all ages and we have truly loved having her be apart of our family! Sincerely, Lorina Bennett

I posted a position on this website and Megan replied. I arranged to meet her a few days later. She texted me one hour before the meeting to tell me she had been offered a full time position from her current family. I reposted the position later that night and she applied. I would question her trustworthiness. Kelly
