My name is Becca Huntly-Playle. I am starting my final year at San Diego Mesa College and plan to transfer to a 4 year university with my AA degree next fall. I am originally from La Jolla and attended LJHS while growing up. I am available this school year for afterschool care, my class schedule is as follows: Mon/Wed: 9:30-12:30 and Tues/Thur: 9:30-2:30 (I have no classes on Fridays). I am on the Dean’s list at Mesa and have a 4.0 GPA and I am currently enrolled in a Child Development class. I rode horses for 13 years growing up and taught beginner lessons when I was in high school. I also worked as an instructor at San Diego Area Writing Project for two summers teaching 4th through 6th graders. I spent my last two summers as a salesperson in the BP department at Nordstrom. I am comfortable tutoring children Read more of any age or grade level. I drive a 2008 VW Rabbit and I have a clean driving record. I watched my family friend’s daughter while she was growing up as well as my younger cousins. I love to be outdoors and go to the beach, play board games, and read. I would also be available for occasional evening/weekend babysitting and pet sitting. I can cook, clean up, and organize as needed.

We were very fortunate to have Becca as our summer nanny. She was always on time, had a great attitude, and was very receptive to my parenting requests and suggestions. She took them out on fun and educational outings and the kids were always happy at the end of the day. My kids LOVE her and are very sad that summer can't last forever! I highly recommend Becca!
