Hello! I am a current graduate student at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in the process of becoming an occupational therapist. I have always been passionate about working with children and hope to work in the field of pediatrics. I have several years of experience of working with families and multiple children at once, ranging between the ages of 3 to 12 years old. I also worked for two years as a clinical aid at a pediatric occupational therapy clinic. My role included assisting the therapist during group therapy sessions with children from preschool up to elementary school to address behaviors disrupting home or school life. Due to the pandemic, my classes are all virtual and I continue to be COVID conscious. I am okay with wearing a mask at all times and will promote frequent hand washing along with other precautions. I look forward to working Read more with any families during this time and hope everyone remains safe!
