I have had an extensive background in childcare. I started babysitting children when I was a teenager. I have babysat families with multiple children, including infants and have had experience with multiple day babysitting jobs. My duties would include supervision, food preparation, light house cleaning, and driving the children to sports / hobby lessons. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I worked as a substitute teacher for two years and have been a kindergarten teacher and fifth / sixth combination teacher. While substituting, I worked for multiple schools in all grade levels / class and in special education classrooms. I believe that substantial foundations at home with strong role models set the path for success in all endeavors in a child's life. Children learn from what surrounds them and I strive to create a loving, respectful, and fun environment that fosters growth and self-development.
