About 3 years ago I took a Child Development program in High School and did over 150 hours of volunteer work with different preschools, elementary schools, and daycares. I absolutely enjoyed my time working with kids of all ages. I’ve been working at a home daycare for a year now and am able to work with many children. I am very patient with kids and know how to handle situations well enough, working at a daycare has taught me many things about how to engage with each child and yet everyday I learn something new. I’ve also babysat a few of my younger cousins and family friends younger children. I am also a college student at Grossmont Community College and I plan to major in Child Development in the future.
