My name is Laura Camila Varón, and I love working with children! I am originally from Colombia, but I've been living in the US for about nine years! I graduated from high school with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education (ECE), and although I went to Law School in Colombia, my career path here in the US has been related to Advocacy and ECE. I came to the US as an Au Pair. I have taught Spanish to preschoolers and to elementary school children. I spent over five years working in a preschool as a teaching assistant and Spanish Specialist, and then I was promoted to lead educator for the bilingual classroom. Working with preschoolers has been one of my most satisfying and exciting experiences! I discovered I love to teach while playing. Singing and crafting are my favorite activities to do with children.
